Belgrad Beer Fest


Belgrade Beer Fest is a beer festival which has been organized since 2003 in the capital of Serbia. It takes place in August. This event lasts 4 to 5 days and gather various beer producers from Serbia and from abroad. Each evening there are also held live music performances. In relatively short time, this festival gained huge popularity, for instance in 2004 – there attrackted over 75,000 foreign visitors and in 2010 about 900,000 visitors.
The Belgrade Beer Fest became the biggest beer festival in Southeastern Europe. What attracts most in that events, that is free entarnce, a broad range of beer brands and music concerts. From 2003 to 2016 the festival had over 7.2 million visitors with 570 music performances, and more than 300 beer brands. On the festival there performed such bands and singers as Hladno pivo, Orthodox Celts, Negativ, Kraljevski Apartman, Električni Orgazam, Film, Divlje Jagode, Benny Benassi, Riblja Čorba, Bajaga i Instruktori, Siddharta and Ana Popović, Esma Redžepova i Darko Rundek.
Belgrade Beer Fest gained The award "Best of Serbia" in 2014 and it is one the most recognizable Serbia's festivals.
