Belgrade Fortress is one of the most valuable historic sites. It is a complex of the old citadel and Kalemegdan Park. It was erected in the 6th century on the 125,5 – meter high ridge, on the confluence of two rivers: Sava and Danube. Today, Belgrade Fortress can be discovered in Stari Grad. This interesting site is famous for its kilometers-long tunnels, underground corridors, catacombs as well as it is known as the most popular green area in Belgrade. Kalemegdan park offers numerous charming paths, fountains, fantastic river views.
Belgrad can boast another impressive Serbian wonder of construction which is the Orthodox church of Saint Salva. The building is famous for being one the largest churchs in the world. It was built on the site where the Turks apparently burnt relics of St Sava.
The other wonder of Serbia is Šargan Eight – a narrow-gauge heritage railway built in 1925 and covering distance between the village of Mokra Gora and Šargan Vitasi. The railway is going slowly uphill bending around its slopes forming the shape of a number eight It undoubtedly offers stunning views over the mountain. The journey lasts about 1 hour. The village of Mokra Gora is also worth visiting. It is a traditional old village with colourful wooden architecture.
The 12th – century Studenica Monastery was inscribed into UNESCO list in 1986. It is located in central Serbia, about 40 km from Krajlevo. The monastery is known as the largest and richest Serbian Orthodox monastery.
Other site on the list of Seven Serbian Wonders of Construction is Gamizgrad–Felix Romuliana - an archeological site inscribed into the UNESCO list in 2007. The place is remains of Roman Galerius Palace built in the 3rd century. The palace complex contained shrines, hot baths, a tetrapylon, two palaces. It was surrounded by walls with four gates and massive towers. 
Subotica City Hall is best known example of Art Nouveau architecture in Serbia. City hall is symmetrically surrounding four inner patios. Visitors can admire outstanding park and Blue Fountain. Interiors are amazing. The Grand Hall is decorated with 16 magnificent stained-glass windows. There are organized City Parliament’s meetings, concerts, weddings and important events. 
Visoki Decani is inscribed into the list of UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is situated in the disputed region of Kosovo. It is famous for a rich collection of exceptional wall frescoes.
