Belgrade Underground Tour

Home > Tours in Belgrade > Belgrade Underground Tour

Throughout the history Serbia was considered a strategically important gateway to Europe. Its capital city was especially desired by all attackers because of confluence of rivers Sava and Danube. So over the centuries a vast network of underground tunnels, fortifications, storage areas, command posts and bunkers was carved by attackers and defenders. Today Belgrade has a huge underground level which can be visited. We offer you such unusual tour of major underground attractions of the city. We will see Roman Hall, Army Bunker, Big gunpowder warehouse and many tunnels and artificial caves. At the end of the tour we can visit a wine cellar located in 3 man-made caves - from the time of the liberation of Serbia from Turkey in 19th century, where we will have some wine.
